We are excited to share our latest development: Monthly Topic!

Starting this November, the stories you will see on holarita.com during the week will fall under a specific topic. We will still feature Places We Like and Event recaps, but the faces, stories and commentary will aim to focus on topics we think are interesting, timely and relevant to our readers.

For this first month, we are starting with a bang with ‘Dominican Entrepreneurs.’ Each week of this month you’ll be getting to know a new entrepreneur from our community. This first topic is very close to our hearts because we believe that representation is incredibly important and crucial for our own advancement as a community. We’ve seen first hand how hard it is for the present and future generations to see themselves doing better and bigger things if they can’t find an example with a familiar face or background - and we want to change that.

We can assure you this will not be the first time you’ll see some fantastic Dominican entrepreneurs on the site, but we are excited to share with you stories that moved us and introduced us to new careers and passions, and ones that will hopefully inspire you or someone you know to finally go pursue that thing.

Estamos emocionadxs de compartir con ustedes lo último en hola,rita: ¡Tema del Mes!

Comenzando este Noviembre, las publicaciones que verás en holarita.com durante la semana estarán dentro de un tema en específico. Seguiremos compartiendo Lugares Que Nos Encantan y Eventos, pero las caras, historias y piezas de comentario y/o personales se irán concentrando en temas que creemos son interesantes, oportunos y relevantes para nuestrxs lectorxs.

Para este primer mes vamos a comenzar en grande con ‘Emprendedores Dominicanxs.’ Cada semana de este mes tendrás la oportunidad de conocer a unx emprededxr de nuestra comunidad. Este primer tema es uno muy significativo para nosotrxs ya que creemos firmemente que la representación es importante y crucial cuando hablamos de avanzar y crecer como comunidad. Hemos visto de una manera muy personal lo difícil que es para generaciones presentes y futuras visualizarse persiguiendo sueños diferentes y más grandes si no pueden encontrar ejemplos con caras e historias familiares a las de ellxs, y de verdad que queremos cambiar eso.

Te podemos asegurar que no será la última vez que conocerás emprendedorxs Dominicanxs en la página, pero nos hace mucha ilusión compartir las historias de varias personas que nos han movido y nos han introducido a nuevas carreras y pasiones, las mismas que esperamos te inspiren a tí o a alguien que conoces a finalmente lanzarse.

No te vayas muy lejos, mantén tu curiosidad al máximo y si ves algo que te gusta, muéstranos un chin de amor y compártelo.
