Taszo Espresso Bar
Over the recent years the cultural and social landscape of Washington Heights in New York has changed a lot. Even though it still holds a high concentration of Latinos (the majority Dominican), rent prices and convenient location has eventually attracted new people of other ethnicities to move up here.
If you follow me on Instagram you might have noticed that I love this place. Taszo’s owner has lived in this neighborhood for over 35 years and recently decided to offer something new to its residents. His espresso bar can accommodate up to 35 people and it is a great place for a quick coffee and panini as well as for working! They have a set area for laptop use and great Wi-Fi access.
If you find yourself in the neighborhood or you stay around the area when visiting, make sure to add it to your list. Their coffee and salmon frittatas are an absolute, very affordable, treat!

Durante los últimos años el panorama social y cultural de Washington Heights en Nueva York ha cambiado muchísimo. Aunque todavía existe una gran concentración de Latinos (la mayoría Dominicanos), los precios de renta y su locación han atraído nuevas personas de otras nacionalidades a mudarse aquí arriba.
Si me sigues Instagram te habrás dado cuenta que me gusta mucho este lugar. El dueño de Taszo ha vivido en este vecindario por más de 35 años y recientemente decidió ofrecerle algo nuevo a sus residentes. Su 'espresso bar' tiene capacidad para hasta 35 personas y es genial para un café y panini como también para trabajar! Tienen un área bien coqueta reservada para utilizar laptops y acceso a Wi-Fi.
Si te encuentras en el área o te hospedas cerca cuando visites, asegúrate de agregar este lugar a tu lista. Sus cafés y frittatas de salmón, aparte de tener muy buen precio, son increíbles!
